How Charging Points Map uses form data.

This notice explains how we use information submitted through Charging Points Map. It is designed for the launch version of the service and should be reviewed before scaling paid traffic or adding analytics.

Who controls the data

What we collect

Home charger quote forms collect name, postcode, phone, email, property type, and page source. Installer partner forms collect business name, service area, email, phone, and message.

Why we use it

We use quote request details to match people with suitable EV charger installers and to contact them about the request. We use installer details to assess partner fit, territory availability, and lead routing.

Who we share it with

We share quote request details only with installers or lead partners who appear suitable for the postcode and job type. We do not sell the data as a general marketing list.

Website form submissions may also be processed by our hosting provider and configured notification services so we can receive, review, and respond to enquiries.

How long we keep it

Lead records should be reviewed at least every 12 months and deleted when they are no longer needed for quote matching, dispute handling, invoicing, or service improvement.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your submitted information by emailing hello@chargingpointsmap.com.

Map data

Public charging point results are loaded from OpenStreetMap-related services. These map queries are separate from quote request forms.
